Written and directed by Alexander McDaniel, 1619 is about a Dad educating his 11 year old son regarding the African Diaspora and 2019 Welcome Home Celebrations happening in Africa, since 400 years ago Africans were stolen from their motherland. Alexander McDaniel is an on the rise 11-year old filmmaker. He has been studying film at the Cinematic Arts Academy (CAAM) in Los Angeles. His debut film Bully Proof Vest has garnered the attention of the industry. His current film 1619 has touched on the social justice movement and the African Diaspora. By directing, executive producing, screenwriting, and being cinematographer, Alexander has learned the ins and outs of filmmaking at young age.
