Director(s): Sierra D. Blake
A Sunday Kind of Love written and directed by myself, Sierra D. Blake is a film about love and truth. Babylon Myers, played by Elishia Parker, grew up with strong religious and spiritual teachings. Her life is centered around the church and impacting the lives of young people. However, when at a crossroad with love, life and death she has to decide if the church is worth losing herself and possibly the love of her life. I co-produced this film with Kareem McMichael. We shared the common goal of wanting to highlight truth on screen, especially, when it comes to LGBTQ relationships in the black community. We sought after a cast and crew who were aligned with our vision and could help us tell this story in the best possible way. We are extremely proud of the outcome of this project and we are grateful to have worked with such an amazing cast and crew.
