Bate Palmas is a film I shot in 2008 of traditional Portuguese folk dancers. The music was recorded live and native to each dance group. The film was shot on Super 8mm Kodachrome which is the reason for such vibrant colors. The entire film is edited in camera, there are no splices or video manipulation minus the scratched in title and credit. It is native from the first frame at the head until the last frame at the tail. It's duration is 50FT and was shot with a Canon 1014.
