"Compassion"is one of the shorts in the anthology, "The Five Keys," a compliation of shorts each themed around a mystical key that is tied to a virtue, a keymaker and his customer. Told by five different writer/director teams, the stories were produced independent of one another and each stands on its own as well as within the series. "Compassion" is about a withdrawn young woman who discovers a Borromean key while exploring an abandoned hospital building. The key unites her with her soul mate and unlocks a compassion for a homeless man who inhabits the building.
