Short horror 'Dirt' follows Penny, a troubled runaway, who is picked up hitchhiking by a group of friends on a camping trip. But after trekking deep into the forest, Penny soon realises this group is not seeking the ideal camping spot after all, but something much more sinister. Now it's an epic fight for survival, as Penny pulls out all punches to be the last one standing. Written, directed, produced by Lyndsay Sarah. 'Dirt' was filmed on location in New South Wales, Australia. The small team behind the film shot the entire thing in 1 day. Cinematography and VFX by Karl Jenner. Sound design by Joseph Narai. Music score by NYC local Kevin Jones. Mikaela Binns-Rorke, who plays Penny, was 14 years old when she took on the role. It was her first acting gig and she's stoked it got to be in a super cool horror like 'Dirt'.
