After Jude Wagner's untimely death, his religious, conservative wife Caroline and his sex-positive, progressive daughter Sydney are shocked to find he owned and operated a sex shop called GOOD VIBRATIONS. While Sydney thinks the place is hot, Caroline wants to sell the wretched den of sin, especially after she learns the shop employs a sexpot cashier and an androgynous lawyer. But, GOOD VIBRATIONS is on shaky financial ground and nobody's buying. Caroline must work with her daughter and confront her fears, shame and insecurities to turn the place around. This is a story of two very different women coming together to run a very different kind of family business.
