The Hell's A-Roarin' Outfitters Annual Horse Drive has been occurring every Memorial Day weekend since 1982. Approximately 200 head of horses are driven through the town of Gardiner, Montana - the Year Round entrance to Yellowstone National Park, to Hell's A-Roarin' Headquarters in Jardine, Montana. The Horse Drive kicks off the busy summer tourist season in Yellowstone National Park. It is a celebration of the traditional western heritage that is part of the community and the great State of Montana. It is definitely, Montana’s Premiere event. This event also includes a western style dinner, cowboy poetry and a dance with live music by Montana Rose which are held that evening at Hell's A-Roarin' headquarters. Beginning in 2013 it was decided to make this into a community event to raise funds for various non-profit entities within the Gardiner area. It focuses on promoting Gardiner businesses, community, and the surrounding areas.
