The subject we chose was one of Tim Burton´s poems from his book, The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy & Other Stories. This book deals with characters that, in their appearance and their conscience, have major differences with people around them, characters that are treated as nothing and sometimes as a piece of junk. We tried to look at this poem from our own point of view and show our opinions and analysis and analyze it from a philosophical point of view. This subject was a deeply touching and engaging topic for me and my friend, Shalaleh Kheiri, because we lived in a third world country that its society doesn´t tolerate the smallest of the differences.
