A skilled artist Jacques Pitre sets out on his journey to find employment in the modern Toronto. Being also a clown he is faced with obstacles and judgment from the people and authorities; yet he finds his tribe along his path. Jacques is a modern Charlie Chaplin in this short, silent black and white comedy-grotesque. He finds joy in simple things and is amazed at the vibrancy of the big city. Through music and the raw emotion of brilliant acting Jacques tells us his story of perseverance and determination.
