"Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves." -Henry David Thoreau Upon graduating high school last year and deciding to wait to go to college, I experienced a very peculiar and unfamiliar feeling this year. Something felt missing, as if all of the pieces were not back in place. In a sense, I was LOST. In late fall I bought my first camera, a Canon Rebel t5i, with the intention of making minor ski videos for a hobby. This short film documents my hunt for footage, locations, and general enjoyment. However, after all of the places and things in Montana that I searched for through the lens, the one thing I truly FOUND was inside myself.
