"In Montana, nature defines art" For hundreds of years, the wind and weather have shaped these Rocky Mountain juniper trees, twisting them gradually. I harvest these long-dead trees, strip and sand them to uncover the beautiful grain that lies beneath the rough exteriors. Nature does the hard work. I just reveal what is already there, shaping and sculpting each one by hand so these once vibrant trees can live again.
