This film is about a black woman celebrating the biggest promotion of her career, but things take a turn when her ex shows up with an uninvited white woman. As the writer and director of this film, I wanted to dive into the conversations within the black community in regards to interracial relationships. A number of people in the black community aren’t accepting of dating someone outside of their race. Can a white woman fit in with black culture? What about a white man? Many people of color believe that it is impossible to be racist and/or prejudice towards white people. These answers vary throughout the black community which I am here to explore.
