There's a lake in the middle of the desert in California that, once a vacation hotspot, now is surrounded by abandoned beaches and it looks just like a post-apocalyptic town. There are very few people living there and we interviewed them to find out how is it possible to live and like to stay in a place that although beautiful, looks like a war zone.
