Barataria Bay, Louisiana is home to a pod of 1,300 bottlenose dolphins. That's about half the population that lived there before the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill. The surviving dolphins are underweight, in poor health, and are having trouble reproducing. Their future survival is in jeopardy. A team of veterinarians, biologists, and wildlife epidemiologists conduct a mission to evaluate their health and discover chronic issues linked to oil exposure.
