"Three Stops Together" is a film that talks about connections among people, connections that happen every day and are immediately forgotten. Sometimes all it takes is just a look among strangers to create a strong emotional connection, one that spins our mind into impossible worlds of future love and affection. With this short film, halfway between a fashion film and a romance, I tried to depict the clash between the stillness of our life and the vividness of our dreams. Mixing the techniques of black and white and colour helped to achieve this unique effect: of a sudden escape into our colourful dreams and a fall back into arid reality. The film was shot on Sony Alpha 7S II and the Sony 24-70 G Master lens. Overall a most recommended combo! I was very impressed by the in-camera stabilisation this little jewel offers, I was shooting handheld on a moving tram car and had no issues of shaky footage. Also love the dynamic range of the black and white and how it all fits together nicely with wonderful creamy colours.
