As my parents are immigrants from Argentina, I have traveled there often and taken videos of every adventure, my favorites being the tango shows at Esquina Homero Manzi in Buenos Aires. Throughout quarantine, I have delved into research about Argentine tango culture, so I created this film as an ode to my heritage and the Argentine tango, and to depict how the intimacy of the dance has the ability to make me feel less alone during this time of isolation. I wrote, acted, and directed in it, having my dad help at times in working the camera to display what I envisioned.
