Kerri Garrett is an multidisciplinary artist from Columbus, Ohio, based out of Atlanta, Georgia. A Clark Atlanta University alumnus, she intertwines the art forms of dance, film, and fashion to create compelling narratives about the black experience. From stage to screen, Kerri can be seen on multiple platforms showcasing her acting abilities. Some of her theatrical credits include: Sorry About That , 360 Degrees of Blackness , Salt City: An Afro-futuristic Choreopoem, and Hand's Up.

A trained dancer, Kerri has studied at Theatre Street Dance Academy (under the direction of China White), Spelman Dance Theatre (under the direction of T Lang), and Staib Dance (under the direction of George Staib). She has worked with numerous choreographers such as Micaela Taylor, Lyrik London, Kathleen Wessel, Victor Rojas, Dacia James, and more. Kerri’s choreography credits include For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide when the Rainbow is Enuf and God’s Trombones (directed by Eric J. Little) at Clark Atlanta University.

In 2020, Kerri was University of West Georgia’s Guest Artist and choreographed Songs for a New World (directed by Jonathan Kitt). In addition, She received Fulton County's Virtual Arts Initiative Grant for her project, Longshot: Atlanta. She executive produced, directed, styled and co-choreographed the five-part dance visual series. Kerri has been a recipient of the Alliance Theatre's Reiser Lab (2020) and a grant recipient of Idea Capital (2021) and Wussy Mag x SFQP (2020). Kerri is also a published model. Her work can be found in the pages of Vanity Fair UK, Shuba Magazine, Nude Magazine, and more. In 2021, Kerri was a resident choreographer with Dance Canvas x Atlanta Contemporary and starred in Synchronicity Theatre’s theatrical production of The Bluest Eye (directed by Ibi Owolabi). Recently, Kerri starred in School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play (directed by Shanelle Marie) at CATCO and was a recipient of NBAF's "Artist Project Fund" grant.
