Marissa Labog, nicknamed “Mighty” by her peers, is committed to the transformative power of storytelling. Trained in a wide variety of movement styles including ballet, modern, hip hop, breaking, jazz, gymnastics, martial arts, capoeira, Tae Kwon Do, parkour, and stunts, Marissa is an extremely versatile creator and performer.

Marissa has performed nationally and internationally with PCB Ballet, Inland Pacific Ballet, John Pennington Group, LA Philharmonic, Oni Dance, Rosanna Gamson Worldwide, Company of Strangers, Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre of which she was the Rehearsal Director and received the Lester Horton Awards for “Outstanding Performer” in 2010. Currently, Marissa regularly performs with Jacob Jonas The Company and serves as the Rehearsal Director.

Marissa’s skills and talent generated opportunities for her in film, television, music videos, and commercials. Credits include: Film — LA LA Land, I Kissed A Vampire, Colombiana, Valentine’s Day, Bring It On: All Or Nothing; TV — MTV Movie Awards, The Emmy’s, Jimmy Kimmel Live,The Drew Carey Show, Fresh Beat Band, and Shake It Up; Music Videos/Commercials — Tina Turner, Christina Aguilera, LL Cool J, T-Pain, Sean Paul, Tiao Cruz, Reebok, Samsung, Nike, iPod, Coke, to name a few.

A fierce collaborator and entrepreneur, Marissa established a youth advocate organization, “One Step Ahead,” that became recognized as a prominent physical theater company from 2009-2015. This company evolved into UP PRODUCTIONZ. Producing content in both film and theater, U.P. strives to reinvest meaning and truth into storytelling by celebrating difference and reveling in the purity of the moment, incorporating the love of acting, dance, and stunt based action

Marissa is a proud member of SAG | AFTRA and holds Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Dance and English from Scripps College. As an actor, dancer, and stuntwoman, Marissa is fearless in her pursuit of creative adventure.
