A woman who needs to clear her head, and her very nervous wife. What's there really to be afraid of? When does a dream become a nightmare? Working in medicine, as I do, can take quite a toll on one's imagination. I've found that dreams remain the one area where the imagination can run wild- for better and for worse. With this film, I've been incredibly lucky to work with a fantastic crew for my first outing. My lead actress, Miya Gossett, was incredibly supportive throughout the process, and she helped bring this vision to life as a short film. The city of Pittsburgh provides such a wonderful backdrop to numerous stories, especially those that require examining the shadows just outside of one's vision. The city's progressiveness in breaking down barriers in community, gender, sexuality, and relationships is inspirational, and I think this shows in our film.
