This is a story about outreach. Too often, I forget that friends in my non-diving communities might not be very involved in the challenges facing our oceans. They're concerned about it. They're just absent from the fight. I decided to invite a college friend to the beach for a short, simple cleanup. It wasn't much, but having him along meant one more person answering the call to action. Let's get out there and multiply that.
