This film is a capture of the surrounding view of Sydney and Sydney Harbour taken from the Sydney Harbour Bridge pylon lookout back in October 2013. In this film I've captured the skyscrapers, what I can see of the bridge and the traffic, a passing plane, some close ups of some boats and the boats in the harbour in the distance. The film I used is a Kodak Vision 3 50D Super 8 and I had it processed and digitized at Nanolab. This was my 2nd attempt at shooting Super 8 and I was rushing it capturing as much as possible on 3 min of film and so the film was nearly unwatchable due to so much motion blur and jerkiness which I didn't know would occur, I was only new to Super 8! So what I did to make this film more watchable was to first reduce the playback speed to 3/4 speed and cut up the various segments of the film and group them together by subject matter and in a way that it would flow best and this is the resulting film. I added a royalty free bossa nova soundtrack I felt suited the film.
