After seeing it featured in the behind the scenes for the grand budapest hotel, John Wick, Killing Them Softly and Se7en, I knew chinese lanterns were important. So I made a quick review while testing out my own chinese lantern. I used 4 130v 5500K fluorescent bulbs inside the lantern and mounted it on a microphone stand with some sandbags.
