In episode 2, Kinky is the New Sexy, Jada Cole, a working New York City actress, is determined to not compromise her true self including changing her hair. Just after her agent informs her that her arch nemesis, Dena Bailey, has been cast yet again as the leading lady due to her silky straight hair, in the role that Jada was sure belonged to her, Jada’s career-only tunnel vision is broken and she’s all of a sudden introduced to the world of dating. Previously declining any advances from male suitors, when she meets heartthrob neighbor, Quinton, he informs her that her kinky hair is “the new sexy” and she can’t help but be intrigued.
