Korba A city in peril

In around July 2014, I visited Korba in Chattisgarh, India, to make a small documentary on the high levels of pollution there and its negative impact on the inhabitants. Korba is counted as the 5th MOST POLLUTED regions of India. Talks about development, poverty eradication, "Make in India", and other such topics appears unending, but at the grass-root level, little is being done. I have tried my best to capture the unheard voices and opinions of the people of Korba, and depict it through this documentary. The people I have filmed belong to various occupational backgrounds and classes. I have also captured the opinions of some children and teachers of Career Public School in Korba. The reason behind this is very simple: We students are the future policy makers, thinkers, leaders and most importantly: the citizens of our country. So if they find it imperative to bring a positive change, then that's what matters matters at the end of the day.
