Is there a definitive moment where a connection is lost? How often do we view relationships through a longing of past? 'You Didn't Laugh' is a minute short that wrestles with these questions. Inspired by Laurence Demaison's photography, the film was born over a coffee and a somber chat about girlfriends. It was shot in a storage cupboard, using a large plastic box, a can of spray-paint and a few jugs of water. From the initial idea, it was written, shot and edited in less than a week.
